From 1 April 2010, the Welsh Assembly Government’s Marine Consents Unit (MCU) are taking over the administration of all new applications for licences under the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985 (FEPA) and consents under the Coast Protection Act 1949 (CPA) for activities in Welsh waters. For details of how to apply please contact the MCU.

To obtain application forms or make enquiries about all marine works consents or the approval of oil dispersants, please telephone or write as follows:
