European Fisheries Fund (EFF)
The UK European Fisheries Fund (EFF) was launched on 15 September 2008. There is £111m funding available for the UK of which there is just over £38 million for England. The programme opened to EFF project applications on 15 September 2008.
Consultation on the English Inshore Fleet - Looking to the Future
This consultation paper invites views on the detail of the proposals in Mr Shaw's letter of February 2008. This letter, sent to all licensed fishermen, proposed measures for tackling the current difficulties in the English under 10 metre fleet. Responses should be received by 3 October 2008.

Financial Instrument for Fisheries Guidance (FIFG)
The previous scheme known as FIFG is now closed.
Beneficiaries who have completed their projects and have not yet claimed their grant are encouraged to do so as soon as possible. Contact 020 7270 8049 for details.
